This one is my attempt at building Heady Topper from The Alchemist in Waterbury, VT.

Notes from brew day

Way darker than Heady Topper.  Even my starter is darker than that.  I think it's something about my water.

I'll reserve my judgement on the hops profile.

~5.75 gallons in the primary.

A very robust fermentation, with a wonderful aroma.

Broke my hydrometer, so we're going to guess on ABV.

Spilled around 1/2# of grain, so threw in 1# extra DME.

Adding DME late in the boil is AOK.  Saves space in your tun if your grain bill is asking for > 13#.
